This recording talks about stress reduction with grounding by using the five senses technique. Lori starts the call by asking members to share the grounding technique that they enjoy using. She then introduces the Five Senses for grounding and members get to experience the sensory grounding exercise, focusing on sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures. Wherein, the members then discuss their experience such as seeing the cleared counter, the shampoo smell, the birds singing, the taste of toothpaste in their mouth, and the softness of their sweater. But what was interesting and what they discovered was that they did not focus on the clutter around them. Then as the discussion continued, singing was brought up as a great grounding for its energizing effects.
Are you ready to try and discover what the benefits of the five senses grounding can do for you?
