Have you ever felt the heavy burden of shame? It can feel like an impossible weight to carry around. But what if I told you that there is a way to release this burden? This recording talks about that through Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, you can begin to shift the movement of energy in your body and work through any feelings of shame that you may have. An assessment is done to identify our emotions and the level of distress we’re feeling on a 0-10 scale before tapping. During the tapping process, the points of the meridian on the body are used to shift the movement of energy within the body. By repeating specific statements and tapping on the points, we can become more relaxed and centered. We can look at the events that has caused us shame and start to let go of the energy of shame. Finally, we will do a wrap up round to help us feel grounded and safe. By the end of the session, the participants can feel a sense of relief and lightness with a decrease in distress numbers.
